Arugula Wild or cultivated

Also termed as “rocket”, it is very aptly named as the leaves have a peppery and spicy flavor, with the “wild rocket” variety being extra pungent. One study has found that it is very high in anti-cancer agents. Arugula’s flowers, seeds, and leaves are all edible. It also makes an excellent base for more substantial salad recipes. Try adding cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken, and walnuts to arugula for a protein-packed, low-calorie meal.
